The root canal or devitalization consists of cleaning or emptying the tooth root, either because of a trauma or because it is decayed. During this treatment, the dentist’s role is to remove the dental pulp, which includes blood vessels and the tooth’s nerve.

Often, the causes justifying this treatment are the following
